Kendall Hall was filled with music, applause and entertainment on Friday night as the TCNJ Jazz Band performed its spring concert to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience.
TCNJ Jazz Band, a product of a course offered at the College, is comprised of approximately 20 members representing the sections of trumpet, trombone, saxophone and rhythm.

The College Art Gallery is presenting "Dress Code," an exhibition of works by three emerging artists.
For the exhibit, the artists abandoned the traditional perception of art and replaced it with performance and public intervention.
"Dress Code" presents a different view of clothing, emphasizing the social and emotional impact of clothing on today's society.

After sluggish ticket sales, the College Union Board (CUB) and the Student Finance Board have decided to make tickets to Friday's New Jersey Music Festival free for College students.
The tickets, which were $15, will be limited to two per ID and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the first-place winner of Catch a Rising Star's College Comedy Competition, having a sense of humor is an obvious requisite. Vegas Lancaster, sophomore philosophy major, recently proved that he is worthy of the big prize.
Lancaster arrived for his interview with The Signal accompanied by a friend who was dressed in a suit and tie with an earpiece and dark sunglasses.

Friends of mine will tell you that I wasn't exactly the biggest Kaiser Chiefs fan when the band's debut album came out back in the spring of 2005.
As a matter of fact, I absolutely hated them. I didn't like their songwriting, I didn't like their song structures and every time I listened to that album it gave me a headache.

Selkow performs its acoustic, hip hop and funk hybrid at WTSR's coffeehouse last Tuesday in the Decker Main Lounge. Drinks and snacks were provided for the audience and Selkow provided Rockstar Energy Drinks. There was also a game of musical chairs with prizes from the Princeton Record Exchange.

Affectionately referred to as the "MoCo" by its participants and the members of All College Theatre (ACT), this year's Monologue and Scene Competition took place in the New Library auditorium on Friday night.
The event was hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies Lindsay Gelay, senior deaf, English and elementary education major.

"Women's Words," an event that celebrated Women's History Month through poetry, took place in the New Library auditorium on Thursday afternoon.
More than 70 members of the College community attended the event, which featured readings by Sonya Posmentier and the College's own Catie Rosemurgy, associate professor of English.
