Lynch strikes right note with off-color comedy
Comedian Stephen Lynch brought down the house on April 23 at 9 p.m. in the Kendall Hall Auditorium. Lynch sang 13 original songs, including "Waiting," "Fishin' Hole" and "Medieval Bush," several of which were from his new CD "3 Balloons." Although Lynch's notoriously offensive humor was occasionally met by stifled guffaws and cringing, he-went-a-little-too-far-that-time expressions, the majority of his jokes struck the right note, and incited the audience to laugh, clap, whistle and whoop its approval.

With a colorful array of music, dance, theater and fashion, the 17th annual "Mystique of the East" celebrated the beauty of various Asian cultures on Friday in Kendall Hall. Sponsored by the Asian American Association (AAA) along with the Chinese Culture Club, the Japanese Club, the Indian Student Association and Barkada, the event aimed to raise awareness and appreciation of Asian cultures, history and heritage on campus.

After two weeks which showcased surges of power and nine wins in 10 games, the Lions took a step in the wrong direction at the wrong time. The Lions finished their regular season on a three-game losing streak, ending their year with a record of 20-16-1 en route to the opening round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) tournament beginning this week.

Although Americans make up only five percent of the world's total population, we are responsible for creating 30 percent of the world's trash.
