Film causes nationwide controversy
On April 15, College students heard a lecture from Bob Kaita, a Princeton physicist who argued it is possible for a scientist to believe in God. While Kaita's arguments were reasonable, the material handed out in the hallway was not. Volunteers passed out promotional DVDs, posters and pamphlets hocking Ben Stein's new documentary, "Expelled.

Lions coast into tourney with pair of wins
The No. 3 Lions prepared to close out the regular season this week, coming away with two big wins over in-state rival Rowan University and Frostburg State University. The Lions celebrated Senior Day at their final regular season home game of the year, honoring senior defender Christine Cavallo, senior goalkeeper Caitlin Gregory, senior midfielders Toni-Anne Cavallo and Karen Doane, as well as senior forward Diane Haddeland.

The scene was straight out of a New England yacht club, but instead of designer polos and deck shoes, captains wore hulas and bathing suits, as they bravely commandeered boats made not out of thousands of dollars of glistening Plexiglas, but ordinary brown cardboard.

After Leo Mahaga and Andy Oliva had finished setting up their instruments, they approached the edge of the Rathskeller stage and introduced themselves. Mahaga, junior criminology major, had a baby-blue electric guitar around his neck, and Oliva, senior marketing major, was gripping a pair of drumsticks.

College treasurer Barbara Wineberg apprised the Board of Trustees at its April 22 meeting of the College's current financial state and what implications this state might have for College tuition. According to Stacy Holland, chair of the Board of Trustees, the meeting was held as a preliminary discussion to determine a possible tuition increase in the upcoming academic year.
